Unspoken words meaning to be said
And unspoken feelings needing to be shown
Living a life that has no purpose
Or is the purpose to make me cry?
I feel so betrayed
Like a new toy put up on the shelf
Sitting there waiting for someone
Whether it's to be played with or just held
Unspoken words showing no comfort
And unspoken expressions needing to be used
I've been taken advantage of
Pushed down making me cry
Scars, bruises, marks
All from going out into the world
Threats made and promises broken
And a number of lies told
Cross my fingers and close my eyes
Hoping for a miracle
But all I get is an unspoken word
Your purpose is to make me cry.
