Dark grey granite
Like weeds protrude
Quiet in their solitude
Pale white faces lay within
Gold-capped teeth can only grin

Pant-legs flat where once were round
Bone for lips can utter no sound
Early we rise
Later we fall
Is the destiny of us all

Cling to love as love allows
Honor those who share your vows
For then as time claims you and I
We will have loved
Until we die
