I can't say for certain when the thought first crossed my mind.
Maybe because I couldn't really remember a time when it wasn't there.
It's not like something I hadn't done before.
But I did hope for something a little different this time.
She wasn't as young as the others.
But I moved right along with them.
You shouldn't forget that.
Time and taxes right?
You'd think I'd run out of clothes.
Except for those times, I'm a pretty neat individual.
A word of advice to the neophyte...
Don't wear anything knitted.
That's all.
The rest is in developing your own style.
My own doesn't take too long.
Sometimes you feel like playing with them awhile.
It's kinda cool when they think you'll let them go.
They do anything you ask of them.
And then to see their expressions when they know the truth.
Say, if you're not busy and you think you might want to know more, why not stop over for cocktails?
We'll slap something on the grill and I'll share some stories with you.
I've got some of the sweetest ground round you've ever had.

It sort of smiles up at you while you cook it.

Don't be long baby.

...Just being Bluesy
