She left me.
Maybe this time for good.

My heart aches for love and devotions
while living on lusts that border on madness.
Cravings for fulfillment of flesh,
and a caroling chorus of nymphs to satisfy them.
Sharing a love born in hell.

So she left me.
She took her Gods and left me.

And now, I've forgotten her,
and the way she was when I met her.
Her lovely face.
Her silken hair, falling.

I've forgotten her.
The way she would hold me whenever she came near.
The playfulness in her when making love.
The tenderness she showed when sharing her deepest secrets,
and learning mine.

Yes, I've forgotten her.
All these and countless other virtues she possessed.

And one more thing,
I've forgotten to forget her.

And it hurts.
