Her feet were soft and tender
Upon my spine of turbulent retraction.
She never felt the least vindictive,
...in her step.
She was a woman who wouldn't guess.

She knew what she needed to know.

Her academics were diverse in nature.
Girls of lesser distinction were her favorites,
...so full of truth and wisdom.

Easing over to family life was a source of neglect that she chose to ignore.

"To get what it is you want", she would say,
"you must leave your comfort zone and the conformity that resides within it".

She took off her shoes for me, and if I live to be a hundred,
...I'll never forget that.
