Oo, intriguing ending. I like the use of the dash to punctuate it. The last stanza particularly interested me. I don't quite know what to say. I can't believe no one has responded to this yet.

I cannot understand what is happening on PQ, There has been 96 viewings of this work since March 1st 2004.
No-one has made a comment until Rainrose on 28th October.
It is time to wake up and look at others work AND COMMENT on it.

I particularly liked the simile: -

Quote

When the earth is ploughed with a plough
Only then it becomes a country
When the earth is ploughed with a quill
Then it becomes an epic

There is much feeling in this work; it is far deeper than it first appears. I enjoyed reading it very much.

Excellent piece. I've read some of your other work in PQ's main poetry section and I have to say that I love your style. I agree with Ben in saying that your piece is "far deeper than it first appears." Like your other works, it has that feeling of something wonderful laying just beneath the surface. The emotion seems to rise from the words like a gentle, pleasant aroma. You are a very gifted writer. :)
Only to man who has raped it with his graduated plow and insulted it with his quill in ways which incite riots.
Bless them both if you will, and for those of you who condone such use of instruments, indeed you will reap what you sow.
