<br />Upon my spine of turbulent retraction.
<br />She never felt the least vindictive,
<br />...in her step.
<br />She was a woman who wouldn't guess.
<br />
<br />She knew what she needed to know.
<br />
<br />Her academics were diverse in nature.
<br />Girls of lesser distinction were her favorites,
<br />...so full of truth and wisdom.
<br />
<br />Easing over to family life was a source of neglect that she chose to ignore.
<br />
<br />"To get what it is you want", she would say,
<br />"you must leave your comfort zone and the conformity that resides within it".
<br />
<br />She took off her shoes for me, and if I live to be a hundred,
<br />...I'll never forget that.
